  • Biography:

In the ancient learning traditions of India, astrology, occultism, yoga and ayurveda form the main four components. Astrology is the study of the energy of the universe. Occultism is the study of the energy of objects that exist around us. Yoga is the study of the relationship between our physical existence and our consciousness. Ayurveda is the study of the environment and nature and the life centre surrounding it. All the above elements deal with energy. They are intertwined in a way because any human being who is a yogic will be connected to the environment and the physical objects and therefore will be an ayurveda person and an occult whose final chord is linked with the cosmos and that will make him an astrologer. The four complete each other and even if one goes missing- then the whole human being is incomplete. Dr. Arun Kumar Jaiswal is of the opinion that all four elements are pre requisites and cannot perform without one another. Astrologers mention the existence of 9 planets and cosmologists or nature scientists also talk about the existence of 9 planets. But there is a world of difference between the two theories. Cosmologists refer only to the physical placement of the planets but astrologers talk about the quintessential nature of the planets. The following two lines encapsulate Dr. Arun’s extraordinary life perfectly: His life journey itself proved to be a path of salvation And each moment transformed itself into a boon. He has had an inquisitive streak in him since early childhood about Ayurveda. As young as he was, at the age of seven he had already acquainted himself with all the great saints and sages and had apprised himself with their penance practices. Under these auspices, he began his journey in understanding the Vedas and the other sacred texts. During once such occasion, while he was diving deep into meditation and prayers, he happened to meet his guru, Pandit Shriram Sharma Acahrya in Shantikunj, Hardwar. His academic education was in rhythm to his deeply spiritual side and he did his Masters in Ancient History and later on went on to his Doctorate in the same field.
